Little known fact...

"Dogs Playing Poker" refers collectively to a series of sixteen oil paintings by C. M. Coolidge, commissioned in 1903 by Brown & Bigelow to advertise cigars.

Images of Clowns for Hotel Mombassa Room

Tonight Jeremy and I discussed the possibility of including a painting of a sad clown (preferably with a gun) above the bed in the Hotel Mombassa scene. This goes along with the idea of having the dogs playing poker in the gold frame on the wall behind the Grand Hotel front desk. This also led to the hilarious idea of having a framed stock photo (or maybe even a landscape painting) of an idyllic scene from nature framed behind the vertical blinds in the hospital room set, as if it were a window.

Here are some images of clowns that could work somehow if we can blow one of them up and frame it above the bed. Sweet dreams!

Velvet paintings are scary.
