Initial Thoughts

I love all the pictures from the older sci-fi movies! I am excited to start working on the initial sketches. The contrast from the "future world" and the movie world will be very cool. The world of the movie will be very reminiscent of today while the future world will incorporate many aspects of classic sci-fi. I am excited to find ways to use lighting to help to add to the feeling of the sci-fi experience. I will be posting sketches soon and we can talk about how to continue from there!

Here are some images from animatronics at Disney theme parks, including The Hall of Presidents and The Pirates of the Caribbean rides.

Interior Design Ideas from "A Clockwork Orange"

Exactly the kind of look I'm going for, for the humans

of the play.

Love the spherical insets on the wall, as well as the

metallic chrome finish.

This makes me think of the idea to use the curves of
the lift for stairs in the hotel lobby scene.

I really like the design on the front (the diamonds)
of this desk.

Sci-Fi Consoles!!!

Lots of consoles and buttons and robots and machines and things that blip and bloop.

TV Hospital Beds

I like the vertical blinds/curtain in the background.

This nurse screams "ANDROID" to me.
